MCE Heat Pump Rebate
MCE customers may receive up to $400 per 500 square feet, plus an additional $2,000 bonus, when installing a qualifying heat pump heating and cooling system.
Eligibility:
- MCE customers
- Owner-occupied, single-family detached homes
- The homeowner must have
- lived in the property for at least 12 months
- Installation must be completed by an eligible contractor
Daikin Instant Rebate
Receive an instant rebate of $750–$1,400 with the purchase and installation of an eligible Daikin FIT heat pump system.
Rebate amounts:
- Daikin FIT System: $750
- FIT with OTERRA or ENTRA: $1,200
- FIT with AURORA or ATMOSPHERA: $1,300
- FIT with MXM, MXT or MXTH: $1,400
- Full-system purchase and qualifying R32 equipment are required.
Goodman Instant Rebate
Save on the purchase of a qualifying Goodman heat pump system. The final rebate amount depends on the selected equipment, system configuration and current manufacturer promotion.
The discount is applied to eligible equipment through a participating contractor.

- Qualifying Goodman equipment
- Complete system installation may be required
- Equipment and purchase dates must meet current program requirements
City of Pinole Rebate
The Pinole Energy Enhancement Rebate Program offered additional incentives for energy-efficiency and all-electric home upgrades. Eligible improvements included heat pump systems, insulation, electrical panel upgrades and other electrification projects.

- Property must be located in Pinole
- Available for qualifying single-family and multifamily properties
- Certain incentives could be combined with regional programs
Alameda Municipal Power Rebates
Alameda Municipal Power customers may qualify for rebates when replacing an existing heating system with an eligible energy-efficient heat pump. Additional incentives may be available for qualifying equipment or related upgrades.
Eligibility:
- Alameda Municipal Power customers
- Property must be located within the AMP service territory
- Equipment must meet current efficiency requirements
- Proof of purchase and installation may be required
HEEHRA Multifamily Rebate
Income-qualified multifamily properties may receive:
- $7,500 for an eligible two-stage heat pump
- $8,000 for an eligible variable-speed heat pumpEligibility:
- California multifamily properties with five or more residential units
- Property must meet applicable income requirements
- Retrofit projects only; new construction is not eligible
- ENERGY STAR-certified equipment is required
- Installation must be completed by a TECH-enrolled, HEEHRA-trained contractor
- Dual-fuel installations are not eligible
SVCE Heat Pump Rebate
Silicon Valley Clean Energy customers may qualify for a rebate when replacing an existing heating system with an eligible electric heat pump. Availability depends on the property address, equipment and current program requirements.

City of Palo Alto Utilities customers may receive incentives for replacing gas-powered heating equipment with an eligible electric heat pump. The amount depends on the equipment, property and current program requirements.

San Jose Clean Energy offers rebates for eligible customers replacing gas-powered space or water heating equipment with electric heat pumps. Customers may also have access to an interest-free payment plan with no money down, repaid through their monthly electricity bill.
