City of Palo Alto Utilities customers may receive incentives for replacing gas-powered heating equipment with an eligible electric heat pump. The amount depends on the equipment, property and current program requirements.

Eligibility:

San Jose Clean Energy offers rebates for eligible customers replacing gas-powered space or water heating equipment with electric heat pumps. Customers may also have access to an interest-free payment plan with no money down, repaid through their monthly electricity bill.

PG&E residential customers who drive an electric vehicle can get back up to 50% of the purchase price of a PG&E-approved EV charger. You apply after the charger is installed.

What you’ll need:

PG&E electric bill (account number and Service Agreement ID)
California DMV registration card for your EV
Proof of purchase of the charger
Photos of the installed charger showing the serial number
Contractor’s installation invoice

Review takes about 10 business days. Once approved, PG&E mails the rebate check to your address within 5 business days.
